Relaxing area to explore this corner of Norfolk. Holme and Titchwell Bird Reserves are only a minute by car, as is the seaside resort of Hunstanton. Sandringham, Holkham, Kings Lynn are within 30 mins drive and the Tourist Information Centre at Hunstanton has a multitude of literature to collect for exploring this popular area.

'Friends' is in a brilliant location and lovely bungalow for enjoying a seaside holiday, being only a few minutes’ walk to the beach and on the outskirts of the village. Other holiday facilities are also close by as is the popular pub and restaurant. The nearest shops are a short walk and places of interest in the area are only a few minutes by car. The Post Office is in the small high street which offers a few more local shops and is a 20 minutes walk.

One area that is really sought after in Hunstanton is the cliff tops. Properties along here are really popular with our guests so we always recommend booking early. Westmead will be no exception as it overlooks the Wash with it’s beautiful panoramic sea views and is perfect for gazing at those glorious west facing sunsets.
This much loved detached chalet bungalow has been used by the owner’s family for many years and now they wish to share it. Older and less able guests are also catered for in the ground floor bedrooms. There is off road parking for up to 4 cars and an enclosed rear garden safe for children and pets. This lovely lodge situated in tranquil countryside overlooking a lake sounds very appealing. Wildlife abounds as there are always birds and animals close by. Ideal to visit the heart of the Broads at Wroxham, with its picturesque Marina and shops, Wroxham Barns, and popular boat tours the lodge, is within easy driving distance. The interesting Bure Valley narrow gauge railway at Aylsham is just a short drive as is the bustling and historical city of Norwich. Seaside resorts of Sheringham, Cromer, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are also within easy driving distance for superb days out.

If you are looking for peace and tranquillity then this is the perfect spot to escape to, in the grounds of the now demolished stately home of Haveringland Hall, near Cawston just a short journey from Norwich. This idyllic spot would suite couples or a small family looking to relax away the day and night with views over the lake and countryside beyond. There is an abundance of wildlife on the park and in the surrounding area plus bird watching, cycling and walking tracks all on the door step. Fishing is permitted on the two lakes and guests are invited to bring all their own equipment on this private water.
The lodge is very comfortable and modern throughout offering accommodation of a high standard with gas central heating, so cosy for winter holidays too. 19 -16 May 2018 Lowe Family; Our first visit to the Garden Flat, although we are frequent visitors to Hunstanton and love returning to West Norfolk. The flat was clean and comfortable, quiet and perfectly situated with everything provided. The weather was lovely and everyone is always welcoming in the shops and cafes.
