Norfolk Holiday Homes has been operating successfully in Hunstanton, Norfolk since before 1960 (Birds Estate Agents took over in 1989 and Sandra Hohol and Julie Rushmer took over the business as Norfolk Holiday Homes Ltd in December 2015). Carol Bacon joined the team in June 2018 and is a very welcome asset to the company. We are privileged to offer a lovely varied selection of individually owned self-catering holiday homes on the North West Norfolk coast and countryside. We are expanding further into Norfolk too, so as time goes on we will have more inland or further around the coast.
Acting as the owners' agents, we ensure the property you choose is up to the standards outlined by Quality In Tourism with grades ranging from 3 to 5 stars and some with a Gold Award too! The majority of properties have at least 3 stars as we believe this is the quality standard which the holidaymaker prefers.
Norfolk Holiday Homes prides itself in it's flexible and friendly, yet still efficient service it provides for both it's holiday home owners and guests. We are proud to offer a personal service as guests have told us they "feel at home" when they book with Norfolk Holiday Homes. As we are just a small company, enquiries for accommodation etc. are dealt with on a "one to one" basis with Sandra, Julie and Carol who between them have 98 years holiday letting experience!! They know the properties and the area very well and are therefore able to answer most queries immediately without reference to the owners. There are no telephone menus to listen to either if you ring out of hours, and as all queries and individual, they are answered individually.
Our properties are very diverse: Caravans and lodges on Manor Park Holiday Park (Parkdean Resorts), apartments, unusual properties, houses, cottages and bungalows - so there is plenty to choose from and to suit all budgets and family sizes. Quality properties for everyday people!
Our properties cover Hunstanton, Old Hunstanton, Thornham, Brancaster, Heacham, Ingoldisthorpe, Snettisham, Dersingham. In North Norfolk, Helhoughton (near Fakenham), Buxton and Haverlingland plus one at Great Yarmouth . We recommend booking early as many properties are very popular! The area is a magnet for birdwatchers, sailing, windsurfing, walking and golf enthusiasts. There are various events throughout the year which makes the area very popular. Local pubs offer traditional and guest ales together with a wide selection of menus.
Half our holiday homes welcome dogs and this is outlined in each description. Some may take more than one, so please check.
Many properties are booked from year to year by the same families and many have been coming to Norfolk for over 35 years - now bringing grandchildren! Norfolk is easily accessible from the Midlands and London and public transport runs regularly with both trains into Kings Lynn and busses to Hunstanton and along the coast. There is even a 'Land Train' Service which runs regularly all day through the main holiday season from one end of Hunstanton to the other!
Many celebrities have made their second homes here too as well as the celebrity chefs who own several pubs and restaurants in the area! Who knows who you might bump into in Norfolk?!

Wow. Oh Wow! we are so happy to be here in your beautiful comfy home which you have thought of everything to make us welcome. The tea and biscuits were a bonus after our long journey. Thank you soooo much, we could no have asked for anything better for out much needed holiday. We have already booked for next year!!
K.K.J ; We have really enjoyed our stay here. Our son has enjoyed making entries in to your "wildlife" book and we have all been amazed by the variety of wildlife seen from the conservatory. Our highlights were watching the barn owl, seeing the greater spotted woodpecker approach the bird table and a red kite flying low over the field on 2 separate occasions. Thank you for providing us with such a fantastic home...................................THE SMITHY . SNETTISHAM. Just some of the comments from 2017
Clanchy Family; This is our first stay and we have throughly enjoyed it. Our son hasn't stopped talking about Snettisham Park and also the wildlife that we could see from the garden. Hope to visit again soon........................................................................................
Miles Family; A great week in a beautiful spot. Just perfect including the weather. If you ever want to sell this place we would be very interested! We will be back i'm sure....................................................................................................................................
K K J; Our second visit this year and this time for 2 weeks! We love it here with a variety of things to do locally, but even staying in it provides entertainment. We highly recommend keeping the feeders and bird table topped up with food, it is unbelievable the variety of birds it attracts, from finches and robins to the regular visits of the nuthatch, great spotted woodpeckers and the squirrels. The jays weren't quite so brave and only visited a couple of times but can often be spotted flying about. Thank you for providing such a wonderful home fo us to stay in once again, as you cant help but relax as you watch the wild life from your window.
A.A.D.D.; Love the cottage , love the views, so totally relaxing, time almost stops. Tranquil and peaceful .Thanks for sharing your place. xx
RYDAL MOUNT. Hunstanton.Mrs C and family. August 2017
Great Holiday Thanks. This is now our annual holiday home, ( 4th time at Rydal Mount) and with 3 generations find so much to do here. There is a chess set at the property which we all enjoy playing. Some of us swam in the sea at Old Hunstanton, played tennis at Heacham,, Crazy Golf, Pitch & Putt, Footgolf, Amusements. Visits to Hunstanton joke shop & Cystal Cave are always favourites, as is the Heritage centre. There was only one day we ventured out of Hunstanton and that was to take the children to Extreme Woodland Adventure near Fakenham. We had a a lovely holiday.
