We believe it is vital that we always offer an easy, flexible, honest and friendly service – we could not do anything else!

We offer a fully comprehensive Easy Management Contract or Full Management Contract depending on how much you wish to be involved in looking after your holiday home. Commission fees available upon request.

 Norfolk Holiday Homes has always endeavoured to maintain good quality holiday homes to offer to returning and new guests. We have a few inspected and graded by Visit England and Quality in Tourism and now we have our own Quality Standards  which also comply with National Standards.

Some properties in our portfolio, have been with us for over 30 years! There is a wide range of accommodation and some unusual ones too! So we are always looking to add to our portfolio and welcome any new ones anywhere in Norfolk or even North Suffolk. 

Some owners have used other agents in the past but settle with us because of our local and personal knowledge that we offer because we take an interest in each property and view them all regularly.  This way we are able to deal with any queries very quickly and directly.  There is no other way to offer a more personal service than to be involved especially as our office is local in Hunstanton too.

Holiday Home owners can be sure that their properties, guests and caretakers are in safe hands as we have been operating for over 55 years in Hunstanton. Sandra Hohol  has managed the department for 39 years with Julie Rushmer joining her in 2004. With their knowledge and experience it made sense to buy the business in 2015. Carol Bacon was invited to join the business in 2018 so with her vast knowledge of the holiday industry, they have  many years  experience between them.

Personal and tailored assistance:

  • Friendly, experienced, detailed and knowledgeable service for owners and guests, including a free appraisal for prospective new owners at their property
  •  A local handy office
  • Being flexible is the key for both owners and guests
  • Owners and guests speak to people – no menus or robots on the phone!
  • Housekeepers, gardeners, plumbers, electricians, handymen etc, – we have reliable and trustworthy people to help you

 

Advice and information:

  • All enquiries are dealt with personally as soon as they come in by phone, person or email
  • We know the area, holiday facilities, pubs, places of interest etc. very well
  • Advice on Health and Safety regulations
  • Provide holiday information with map, arrival and departure details, key access, local and emergency information and handy hints, plus much more is issued to guests to ensure that their holiday can be planned
  • Provide a folder for guests in properties with tourist attraction leaflets 
  • Provide information folder for prospective owners
  • Advice on furnishing and equipping to quality standards
  • Advice can be offered regarding letting/tax although you will appreciate that each individual owner or prospective owner’s property and/or financial circumstances are different

 Marketing:

  • Marketing is effective through our web site, brochure, word of mouth, and many returning guests. We tend to concentrate on areas where our data shows where we achieve the most interest. However, over half our bookings are returning guests booking on line or by phone, nearly half of all guests book via our web site or google and the remainder are enquiries via local authority tourist guides, plus a few other magazine/online/newspaper campaigns or simply picking up a brochure from the office. Obviously some of the latter book on line and the statistics merge but we are pleased that we have an excellent percentage of returning guests

Finances;

  • Very competitive and flexible commission with first year introductory rate for a single property
  • Detailed monthly accounts
  • Payments of guests’ rental monthly
  • No initial payments – commissions, Star Rating Fees and Registration Fee will be deducted from the first rentals (however there is time limit for payments to be received)
  • Returnable breakage deposit charged on all bookings
  • No charges for photos of your property with photographs updated and replaced as necessary

Bookings:

  • We can liaise with other websites and your own
  • 24 hour booking system on line and affiliations with other on line travel agencies.
  • Easy booking system
  • Owners can reserve as many weeks as they wish without being penalised as long as we are notified

Photography:

Photographs are taken by ourselves without a wide angle lens so there is no misrepresentation on room sizes and description
