Badger’s Rest is a Norfolk delightful retreat situated at the far end of the village and tucked privately away. Fully enclosed, there is a car port and parking for two cars, and is totally private. The bungalow has an entrance into attractive patio garden, ideal for dining and sitting out at any time. Originally stables, it was converted a few years ago and sits adjacent to the old railway platform which served the Hunstanton to King’s Lynn line until 1969. Very well equipped throughout with gas central heating the spacious accommodation is tastefully furnished to an excellent standard throughout.

The light and airy accommodation comprises; Entrance into spacious, open plan living ‘L’ shaped room with kitchen at one end with gas hob/electric cooker, following through past dining area to lounge area with wall mounted FreeSat TV/DVD. Small lobby. Bathroom/wet room WC, washbasin and walk-in shower. Two bedrooms; one with a double, leading through to the other having twins. There is room for a cot in either room.

There is a small indoor swimming pool (32’ x 14’) which tenants have shared use of included in the rental . The pool has been cleverly designed and built between the two railway platforms which run through the pool house, and acts as a ‘side walk’ and wall on each side of the pool building itself. Changing room with WC and shower. (Rules and regulations apply.)

Please note that due to Coved 19, hygiene is paramount so therefore there will be no towels provided in the pool and the toilet facilities will not be available until further notice.

Parking; Parking for one car under the car port and a 2nd car in front of the property

A £100 refundable breakage deposit is payable with the balance. One Small pet permitted for which an additional charge of £30 per week. £25 Booking fee. Pool is shared with Beechings Halt on our website.

This property can be hired with Beechings Halt next door to sleep a total of 12.

Snettisham village itself is just a minutes drive although there are some beautiful country walks and lanes close by which will take you in to the village, having several small shop including a small Co-op. There is are pubs with restaurants, bistro, Antique centre with tea shop. Park Farm has a deer park, farm animals, tractor tours, tearoom, play area and shop selling food from the region.
Snettisham Beach is just a minute by car and is popular for sailing. The bird reserve close to the beach has featured many times on television with its abundance of migrating and resident birds.

Pensthorpe just outside Fakenham is also home to many different species of birds and a lovely day out for all the family with restaurant, walks, and play and information centres.
