If you are looking for peace and tranquillity then this is the perfect spot to escape to, in the grounds of the now demolished stately home of Haveringland Hall, near Cawston just a short journey from Norwich. This idyllic spot would suite couples or a small family looking to relax away the day and night with views over the lake and countryside beyond. There is an abundance of wildlife on the park and in the surrounding area plus birdwatching, cycling and walking tracks all on the door step. Fishing is permitted on the two lakes and guests are invited to bring all their own equipment on this private water. ( Fishing licence required or a day license is available from the Park office).

Off road parking is available for one car although there is a small car park nearby. A balcony with outdoor furniture surrounds the lodge overlooking the river. Guests will love spotting a variety of nature both day and night time.

The lodge is very comfortable and modern throughout offering accommodation of a high standard with gas central heating, so cosy for winter holidays too.
Entrance into open plan kitchen and dining areas leading through to the living room with modern electric feature fireplace and riverside views.
Two bedrooms, one with twins and the other with a king size, the latter having an en suite WC and washbasin. Shower room with shower (8 inches threshold), washbasin and WC.

Please note that guests must keep their pets under control at all times due to the close proximity of wild animals and birds around the lakes and rivers.

Parking; One parking space next to the property.

There is a refundable £100 breakage deposit payable with the balance. Dogs are charged at £30 each per week. A £25 Booking Fee. Please note no Wi-fi

The historical and bustling city of Norwich with castle, plenty of shopping, museums and much more is only about 8 miles, Norfolk Broads with magnificent stretches of rivers is less than 30 minutes away and the coast at Cromer and Sheringham is just a 20 minutes’ drive. The thriving market town of Alysham is just a few minutes away and there are plenty of pretty little villages, and places of interest to explore in this area of Norfolk countryside.
