Location, location, location! These words speak for themselves with this beach property. Imagine a holiday where the beach is literally outside your window. Where from the sun filled patio or the bright and beachy living area you are gazing at nothing else but sand, sea, sky and sunsets. It is fascinating to think this is possible in England but it is a reality at Sunset Beach Retreat. Here you truly do retreat from the noise hustle and bustle of daily life, to a life on the beach. Amazing sunsets, shimmering and disappearing into the horizon. The ever changing tides and birdlife in abundance. Clean sand, clean sea water and fresh air in a panoramic view of 180 degrees. This is a safe relaxing retreat for all the family. Barbecue (not provided) and watch the sun disappear over the horizon, slowly transforming day into night. and see shooting stars skim the moonlit skies. This location brings Florida or Australia to you! What more could you want in a beach holiday?

Situated on the south side of the village it is within easy reach of a small convenience store, ice creams, shellfish bar and café. There is off road parking for 2 medium cars, gate straight on to the beach and small, enclosed sitting out area with furniture.
Although a mobile home, you would not think so when walking inside. The furnishings and decor are modern and comfortable, seaside orientated and ideal for children and pets. Electric radiators provide heating for cooler months.
Sunset Beach Retreat is light and airy and has a relaxed and restful feel to it. Perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring this magnificent area. Entrance into social space of living and dining area with kitchen to the side. Two bedrooms, one with a double and the other with twins (2’6”) only suitable for children. Shower room and separate WC and washbasin.

April 2019 Mr C - Wonderful location, clean, tidy and well equipped accommodation. Cafe by the car park excellent for a full English, enough to last me all day. Will I come again? I do hope so.
April 2019 Mrs E - What a fantastic place, beautiful inside the caravan, spotless and well decorated. So good for my swimming, could not have been closer to the sea!! This has been my best mini break ever. Hopefully I will be back for a longer break. It was my birthday treat to myself, was a lovely touch having a birthday card left for me on arrival. Perfect, thank you.
April 2019 - Fabulous, lovely view, very clean and tidy. Weather sunny but cloudy at times. Loved it!
Easter 2019 - We had an amazing stay here for numerous reasons. A surprise proposal on the beach before sunset on the first day so we got engaged in the most beautiful place. We will therefore be coming back a bit more than we thought. Everything was lovely and the amenities were great. The weather was scorching every day and the sunsets were gorgeous. We met the manager who was lovely as well. This is the best break we have ever had. Thank you.

May 2019 Mr & Mrs K - Fab stay, location perfect. Enjoyed swimming every day - note to future guests, the sea is warm and shallow quite a way out so safe for competent swimmers. Norfolk Lavender worth a visit, lovely lunch at the cafe. Will definitely be back, loved it.

Leaving feeling totally relaxed , with numerous photos of beautiful sunsets. Future guests with young children, we recommend Snettisham Farm Park, Farmer Fred's Play barn and animal farm and Old Hunstanton Beach. We hope to return to this lovely part of the country soon.

September 2019 J, T & J - We had a fantastic break. We come to Heacham all the time, but to find this amazing gem on our favourite beach was just amazing. To wake up to this view everyday is my idea of heaven. Went to Sealife Sanctuary...absolutely lovely. Fell in love with every dog on the beach, so funny to watch. NO-ONE (even teenagers) missed the Wi-fi. Clean, gorgeous and perfect home from home.

The local shops and the closest pub/restaurant are about 15 minutes’ walk into the village, although there is a small supermarket about 300 yards away. The beach is just outside the door. Heacham’s Norfolk Lavender
is on the A149, only a minutes’ drive, The Royal Estate of Sandringham is just 4 miles and the historical port of Kings Lynn is 14 miles. Avid bird watchers have the choice of Reserves at Titchwell
. Golf Links at Old Hunstanton and Brancaster are a few minutes drive, plus a regular bus service runs through the village from Cromer to Hunstanton
and then on to Kings Lynn
where there is also a good rail link. Snettisham watersports/sailing club
is at South Beach Snettisham
is the home of Norfolk Lavender where you can see the history of the site and buy lavender produce besides many other interesting gifts. Farm Shop. Restaurant. The animal Centre and Farmer Fred’s Adventure Play Barn are open all year for children and visitors. The village offers a wide choice of pubs/restaurants, plus local shops all within easy reach of our holiday homes here. A good bus service runs every half hour to Hunstanton or Kings Lynn.
Sandringham House with it’s stunning gardens, museum and surrounding park are open most days throughout the year, perfect for picnics and dog walking. July’s Flower Show is something not to be missed! Being attended by royalty and offering a superb day out for all the family. Only 8 miles from Hunstanton, it is the perfect attraction at any time of year. Entrance to the park is free.
SNETTISHAM AND DERSINGHAM
are very busy villages with several little shops, pubs, cafes and churches.
Snettisham Beach is just a few minutes by car and is popular for sailing. The rsbp bird reserve close to the beach has featured many times on television with its abundance of migrating and resident birds.
