The Garden Flat

Discounts of £40 for couples from November to 28 March excluding Christmas and New Year on full weeks only.

The Garden Flat was a pleasant surprise upon our first inspection! Although tucked secretly away at the bottom in a block of Victorian Houses overlooking the sea, this flat is not exactly basement, but sits just a few feet below ground level and guests are amazed how deceiving it is, offering superb spacious accommodation which is light and airy and has a few surprises! Situated very close to the town centre and holiday interests, guests can leave the car in a private parking space and walk everywhere to holiday interests, town shopping, the beach, cliff tops, promenade and beyond.

Steps down into private front entrance, a sitting out area for relaxing and enjoying warm evenings and magnificent sunsets. Rear access to one parking space, although street parking is close by. (NB: steep concrete steps up to car park). Gas central heating.

All on one level once inside the property, it is furnished and equipped to a high quality standard and like a tardis, it opens up to an unbelievable amount of room.

Entrance into large hallway. Lounge with feature electric wood burner and facing West to enjoy stunning sunsets which Hunstanton is famous for. The hall leads through to open plan fitted and integrated kitchen and dining area. Door to rear which has a lovely Mediterranean feel about it, the courtyards being paved and split into seating areas with surrounding high white walls, vines, shrubs and greenery. Even at a lower level, it is still able to enjoy sunshine and you would not think such a place existed.

Two ample size bedrooms. The master has a double bed with ensuite shower room having shower, WC and washbasin and the second room has twins. Family bathroom with bath (shower spray attachment from taps), WC and washbasin.

Parking; One parking space at the rear of the property. Street parking near by. Please note that the steps are very steep at the rear, but access is easier via the front door with just 7 steps in to the property.
Garden: Seating area at the front of the property with wooden bench. Rear courtyard.

A £100 refundable breakage deposit is payable with the balance. £25 Booking Fee. £30 per week for a dog.

NB: Allergy warning - all bedding is feather/down

Guests Reviews 2019

March 2019 E, D & E - What a beautiful "home from home" . We've had a lovely week here. Black Labrador Ebony has enjoyed being so close to the sea front and cliff top walks... We hope to be back again in the Autumn. Thank you once again for providing 5 star accommodation.

May 2019 T, T & Bertie the Dog - Another lovely stay, Bertie very much appreciated the dog treats! Hope to be back in September. Thank you.

May 2019 Mr & Mrs W - Many thanks for a wonderful holiday in the Garden Flat. Beautifully appointed with secluded cottage garden and ideally located close to Hunstanton town centre, it was ideal for us. We will certainly visit again.

June 2019 B & M - My sister and I have enjoyed our stay at the Garden Flat (aged 85 & 89) despite the weather. Saw two sunsets and enjoyed the lovely courtyard gardens. It is well provided for, and situation great for us close to town and seafront without a car. Have got out most days. We would definitely come back. We would also like to thank the very helpful office team. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

June 2019 L, J, G & M - Our third visit to The Garden Flat. So comfortable, situated so centrally that access to all town amenities is very easy. Had two lovely weeks - walks along the sea front and on the beach are a must.

July 2019 S & G - ‘We had a really good week here in Hunstanton. The flat is much larger than we expected and very well equipped…with the flat’s ideal location and a good bus service, our car hasn’t moved since we arrived. Good walking on the coastal paths and quite good weather completed a very good week’.

July/August 2019 - The J Family - ‘Had a lovely time in Hunstanton and in the Garden Flat. Very comfortable and loads of room as well as everything you need. Would definitely stay again!’

September 2019 - The L Family - Our second visit to The Garden Flat and another lovely stay. Everything we needed in an ideal location. Looking forward to a visit next year.

October 2019 - E, D & D - Another fantastic stay at the Garden Flat. Its definitely a home from home, with beach huts, lighthouses and sea orientated ornaments like our own home! Black Lab Ebony loves being so close to the seaside and walks. We don’t drive any more, but even if we did, I’m not sure that we’d use the car much. We’ve had a lovely, peaceful and restful week and hope to be back in the Spring.

November 2019 - J & G - Lovely, well equipped flat and especially impressed by all the extras left for us in biscuits, milk, dog treats. Enjoyed Norfolk and its friendly people and many dog friendly places.

Febraury 2020 - T.T.B. Thank you for another lovely stay. Everything is so comfortable here and clean. We needed a peaceful break and we have had it ! Many Thanks

J.N. & Buddy Lovely , Lovely, Lovely. We will be back.
