Coronavirus (Covid 19) - Advice for our customers
As from 5 January we are in Lockdown and no-one is permitted to travel for holidays and no holiday accommodation is permitted to open. There is currently no end date to these restrictions, however, the Government is suggesting reviewing them around the middle of February, so we will be contacting guests with options as we need to.
If you are working in the area during Lockdown then accommodation can still be booked but we need proof of the work/contract/employer. If you have another reason for needing accommodation during Lockdown (ie; NHS worker, between houses) please contact us. More details on the Government website.
Cancellations - If you wish to cancel totally outside of Lockdown, please refer to the Booking Conditions as you will still be liable for all or part of the balance.
Insurance – if you have not yet paid the balance for your holiday and have not taken cancellation insurance for your future holiday, you still can do so please call us. You, your booking party and close family members will be covered for the Virus as well as the usual cover for other sickness, accidents etc. (T's & C's apply)
If your holiday falls in a Lockdown date, then we will 1) happily transfer to different dates on the same property (any balance of rental to be charged but if changed to same dates the following year, the same rental will be honoured). 2) We can issue a voucher for guests to choose their dates on the same property at a different time (guest to cover extra charge on rental if necessary or if dates fall inside a cheaper bracket the balance will be adjusted accordingly). 3) A refund will be made immediately if required.
Arrival and departure times - In order to ensure that all properties are hygienically clean and safe our housekeepers will need extra time to do so. Therefore access time will now be after 4pm. No early arrivals. If you have instructions to collect keys from our office please do so from 11am on the day of your arrival but still no entry until 4pm. It will help you to avoid traffic congestion and queuing at our office due to social distancing/chatting upon arrival. (Not that we don't like to chat!).
Welcome trays - Our owners love to leave a welcome tray but with Government safety and hygiene guidelines now in place there may not be anything left out for guests, so please do not be disappointed.
When you are on holiday please continue to take particular care to maintain excellent hygiene – washing hands and surfaces, wear a facial covering, keep your distance.
Properties may have some items which have been taken away, such as toys, books, leaflets, cushions and throws etc. plus a complimentary arrival tray may not be available. We hope you will understand that your holiday will not be the same due to social distancing, hygiene rules, opening times for the holiday interests, pubs, restaurants, shops etc so please respect all the requests in place whilst you are here. You may need to book for some activities, etc.
We will keep all guests updated as best we can but please be patient – everyone is a priority but we can only deal with one person at a time and we are doing our best.
